OOOOHH Yeeaahhh baby! Been going to this place since he was serving out of a little shack on Mississippi St. The man (Tracy is his name) deserves his current establishment and i hope his next place is even better. I ALWAYS order the Hungry Man portion of the beef brisket because the grain-raised beef is soooo tender and tasty and not too fatty at all. Him and his staff are for real people, not contrite robots just in it for the buck. I’m a volunteer TV producer and i was part of a show for 2 years that Tracy sponsored for us and so our crew got fed every show. We were fortunate to be able to sample everything. There’s not a dish he has that i disagree with…….there’s a real love of cooking going on in there. I would suggest the Louisiana shrimp and rice dish he occasionally makes.
